Cricket Charity lands in safe hands

The London Community Cricket Association was bowled over to receive a cheque from ‘Croydon Business’ for £6,000 raised through their Charity Cricket Match with local businesses.

Managing Director of Francis Townsend & Hayward Insurance Brokers, Simon Careless, also surprised his colleagues and special guest Phil Tufnell by picking up the trophy for “Best Shot of the Day.”

The LCCA provides cricket programmes in some of London’s most deprived areas. They run groups for people with disabilities, as well as training for women & girls and have travelled overseas to help others benefit from their programmes.
